Until recently orthodontic treatment, even for the simplest cases involved the placement of bonded metal brackets and metal wired on the patient’s teeth. Now most cases are accomplished using computer generated clear plastic trays.

SureSmile is the newest brand of this great technology that we have been using for 5 years.

To start a case copies are made of the patient’s teeth and their bite.

Photos are taken from different angles.

The dentist make notes about the desired outcome.

The SureSmile lab uses software to plan the movements of each tooth required to achieve the best result and the time required to arrive at the result is calculated.

Before and after digital images are created for the preview of the dentist and the patient.

Computer generated clear plastic trays that are changed every two or three weeks to guide the teeth into new positions are fabricated. When all the steps are done the case is complete.
