Dr. Christopher Pochebit
Dr. Chris“Topher” Pochebit, a Portland native, graduated from Cheverus High School where he became a decorated athlete in hockey, football and lacrosse. Dr. Pochebit went on to major in Biotechnology at Endicott College with a pre-medical focus while playing collegiate football. He returned home to Portland to complete his childhood dream and become a dentist. He graduated in the inaugural class from the University of New England where students received twice as many clinical hours compared to other dental schools. He was amongst the first group of students selected to a 12-week externship to complete comprehensive dental care for the rural communities in northern New England. Dr. Pochebit is a dedicated dentist who finds joy in all aspects of dentistry. With a gentle approach and a commitment to patient comfort, Dr. Pochebit has built a reputation for making dental visits a positive experience. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Pochebit is a devoted family man. He is married to his wonderful wife, Brittany, and together they have three sons: Daniel, Zachary, and Ryan. Dr. P enjoys spending quality time with his family on Little Sebago along with their yellow lab, Franklin. He is an avid golfer and hockey player and is currently the team dentist for the Maine Mariners hockey team.
Christine
Christine is the front desk/office manager, handling all of Portland North Dental Associate’s patient affairs. She also fills in as a chairside assistant, as needed, and is radiograph certified. She is a graduate of Stevens High School, Rapid City, South Dakota and attended the University of Southern Maine. Christine has worked for Portland North Dental since 1993.
Amanda, an R.D.H.
Amanda joined the Portland North Dental Associates team in 2007. She is the full-time dental hygienist, in charge of each patient’s hygiene appointments as well as their periodontal health. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Degree from the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists in Boston.
Ramon
Ramon joined Portland North Dental in 2011. He grew up and graduated high school in the Dominican Republic. After living in New Mexico for two years, he and his family settled in Maine. He has worked in the dental field since 2010 and is radiograph certified.
